Your investment will depend solely on the size of your collection and your overall objective. Our clients aren't looking for the least expensive option, but rather someone who is experienced and personally invested in listening to their goals and in delivering a professional quality product.
At your 2-3 hour "Discovery" session, we'll gain a better perspective of the complexity of your project, the varying types of media you need digitized, the condition of the photos, the level of organization you desire and so much more. We'll follow with a project proposal for you to make an informed decision.
At Unboxed Photos, we work with clients who prefer to work in phases and those who go all in. We offer "Blocks" of prepaid hours to lessen the investment and a variety of payment options, with no pressure. We want our clients to be at ease with their decision.

White glove service is our ongoing, premium level of service including exceptional care, attention to detail and going above and beyond client expectations.
Photos are one of our most precious and valuable personal assets, with many being extremely fragile. While in our possession, your photos are treated with utmost care. Much of our white glove service occurs behind the scenes:
- We always handle your photos and memorabilia with cotton or nitrile gloves and/or finger cots to prohibit the transfer of the natural oils of human hands.
- We use professional cleaners to remove glues and gunk, as needed.
- We use anti-static brushes and microfiber cloths to remove dust from every item, from our equipment and throughout each process.
Providing an outstanding client experience is always top of mind at Unboxed Photos, focusing on attention to detail with each personalized project and exceeding customer expectations from the moment you contact us to post-delivery.
We'd love to hear from you to answer your questions and chat about your goals. Schedule a Complimentary phone call HERE.
To curate, in photo organizing, is to carefully and thoughtfully select those photos considered to be the best of the best for the finished collection, the ones you would select for an album or custom book.
We generally recommend eliminating duplicate photos and setting aside the duds and multiples of the same subject matter for you to review at a later time.
A curated collection is the tidy, cleaned up version of your mess, making it much easier for you to maintain and search for that favorite photo memory.

Organizing anything in life can be taxing and off-putting. If you've always thought you'd pass your boxes and bins of photos and old media to your children to deal with, I invite you to give that idea a thoughtful reconsider.
Your. Life. Story. is in those boxes and bins!
Your children may not be interested today, but one day, just like you and me, they will become interested. They're busy right now, but one day, they'll have the time to be more curious about your life. It's human nature to feel connected and only you, can tell your life's story!
At Unboxed Photos, we also worry about the vulnerability of photos due to degradation (fading and breakdown), storage conditions, natural disasters, technology and human memory loss.
At the least, organized or not, we recommend rehousing your memories in archival storage solutions, stored in a controlled environment. The best, next step is to digitize photos for long-term preservation and safekeeping.
We'd love to answer the questions you may have or to chat about your goals and our services. Schedule a Complimentary call HERE.
While impossible to give an exact time frame prior to our "Discovery" session at your home or business, imagine your photos being out of storage, off your to-do list and in the capable hands of Unboxed Photos.
Many factors determine the length of any one project. Following are but a few:
Size, complexity and your goals
Organization system in place, or not
Tedious or time-intensive processes: unstick, remove and replace photos in frames and albums, fragile items, restoration level, photo keywords placed or corrected, etc.
Adding additional items to the project AFTER the initial proposal
We welcome your inquiries and questions with a Complimentary call HERE.
Archival boxes are specifically designed for long-term storage safety and to protect valuable and sensitive items from damage caused by acids found in craft store boxes, light, dust, moisture and other environmental factors. They are typically acid-free and lignon-free cardboard that won't react with or damage its contents.
Archival storage products are not your ordinary boxes and products and they cost more. You pay for acid-free treatment process and sturdier, reinforced corners to prevent crushing. Consider them an investment, which may encourage you to be selective about what you keep.
Standard cardboard, PVC and some other materials will eventually degrade, becoming acidic. Acidity causes photos to fade, yellow, become brittle and degrade over time. Glues used to construct some boxes can also be a source of acidity.
Plastic bins or boxes that contain PVC breaks down and develops damaging acids. And, they more readily retain moisture and heat, both of which are harmful to photos and precious objects stored in them.
Hobby store boxes may list that they are archival but the truth is, the manufacturers and suppliers of the boxes don't understand the truest sense of the word "archival" and use it without realizing the misunderstanding.
